This painting was a personal project of mine where I wanted to incorporate both acrylic paint and watercolour into a painting, my goal was to give it an illustrative, children's book feel. I like that the light and colourful layered leaf background contrasts with the dark two-toned rabbit, I think the two styles really complement each other.
