Painted Photographs

 

This series of paintings were my final pieces from my brief titled 'Issues' where I was looking at the journey from childhood to adulthood and self-acceptance. I took photographs of things that were important to me as a child and things that are important to me now so you could see the contrast between the two, I painted over my photographs and gave them bright backgrounds to symbolize childhood.
